ICM – 1/72 I-153

Late 2021

This tiny plane has it’s ups and downs, but overall it is a nice little model. The build was simple and went together well, although when it came to painting and masking, the biplane problem was a bit apparent as it made it harder to reach some areas. So my advice would be to try and do the the painting separate for the bottom wings together with the fuselage from the top wing section. Can save you some headaches.

Sadly ICM doesn’t know how retractable gears (or in this case, sleds) work on a plane and needed some improvisation.
In fact, only a very few manufacturers know about retractable gears and how they work in this industry.

So hey, can’t really say anything else. It was a while back and it didn’t leave too much of a mark on me to be able to write about it.
It was good. Get it if you’d like.
