As I returned to the beautiful world of scale models I restarted the hobby with some 1/72 scale planes. Soon I realized that I really like planes to be in flight instead of the regular “sitting duck” position. After scouring the internet for decently looking stands, the conclusion was that there is only one option at this point. Which is, that I have to make my own.
Now I didn’t wanted to start doing wood working and metal bending to create the usual home made stand one can come across, so I turned to 3D printing and started to design my own little stands. Soon after I had this absolutely crazy idea to share these stands and see if anyone else would like to use them in their projects.
This little prelude led me to create Rogue Plastic, that I can create and share my ideas with the community, be it plane stands, tools, kit upgrades, etc…
Anything scale modelling related, really.
Besides the physical aspect of RP, I also want to create and share my experience in terms of videos, images, articles, reviews, etc…
Not to bore you to death with long winded introduction any longer, I just say…
Welcome at Rogue Plastic!
